Step-by-Step Goal Setting Study

Step-by-Step Goal Setting Study

Practice: Students are asked about their goals. The main target is divided into parts/sections and numbered. They are asked to write down what materials or support they need to achieve this goal. They are asked to plan what kind of action plan they need to achieve this goal. Actions related to appropriate material and necessary support are matched. The needs-support-action plan is updated or revised as the segmented targets are achieved. An age-appropriate target can be selected for younger age groups, (e.g. collecting toys, placing books in the closet, brushing their teeth every day, going to bed at bedtime, etc.) and the student can be asked to follow the target on a visual chart.
