Lesson on Coping with Difficult Feelings

Practice: Students are asked about which emotions felt difficult to cope with in the past week. They are asked to share their experience as much as they want while answering the question. They are then informed about the cognitive thinking system. (Thought-Emotion-Behavior). Remaining present and circle of control is emphasized. Students are encouraged to talk about how they experience feelings and what they do to cope with them. The activity is concluded with a brief meditation session.
