How Does An Artist Feel?

How Does An Artist Feel?

Practice: The teacher talks about the last years of the French artist, Henri Matisse, when he was bound to a wheelchair, and the feelings that the artist, whose movements were restricted, might have felt while creating his art. Students sit on chairs against a wall covered with drawing paper, and without standing up, sketch on that paper using crayons attached to long bamboo sticks – just like Matisse.
