The Concept of Beauty and Our Relationship with Our Body
Practice: A text on the factors that shaped the evolution of the concept and perception of beauty is shared with the students. Is there an idealized concept of beauty? If any, the factors that determine this are discussed with the students. The discussion continues with examples on the discrimination that people with different appearances are exposed to. The lesson is concluded with a discussion on what the body positivity movement is and what it is not.
