How do I feel? – The Mirror Project
Practice The teacher and students sit as a circle on a carpet. The teacher asks the students how they feel that day and what they are thinking. After that, mirrors are handed to the students. Students look into the mirror to check their facial expression, which is a representation of those feelings they have just talked about. What are our eyes like when we feel tired, how do our eyebrows look when we are angry, which form do our lips take when we cry or laugh? What can be the color of joy, anger, sadness or happiness? With these questions in mind, students examine their faces in the mirror. First, they create their own portraits through drawing papers, pastel and acrylic paints.
